About Christian

While many drivers in the Road to Indy & upper levels or motorsports began their careers at a young age in karts, Christian Bogle did not enter the world of motorsport racing until recent years.

After first driving an open-wheel race car in early 2018 at the SimRaceway School at Sonoma Raceway, Bogle entered his first races in 2018. Starting out with select events in a variety of series – including the F4 United States Championship, Atlantic Championship and F2000 Championship – Bogle entered in twelve races in his first year and earned a best finish of fifth.

For the 2019 season, Bogle narrowed his focus in on the F4 US Championship Powered by Honda and began his Road to Indy career in USF2000 Presented by Cooper Tires. In F4, Bogle claimed his first and second wins in back-to-back races at Circuit of the Americas. With an average field size of eighteen drivers, Bogle claimed a best finish of tenth in USF2000.

As the world and motorsports community dealt with rapidly changing COVID-19 guidelines, Bogle again entered USF2000 for the 2020 season. Improving on his previous year, Bogle improved his best finish for a sixth-place finish at Road America and claiming the hard charger award for most passes in the season among all drivers.

When planning began for the 2021 season, Bogle & his family made the decision to jump up two levels in the Road to Indy and enter in Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires. After making a massive jump in terms of power and competition, Bogle finished the year with a best of seventh and multiple other top-ten finishes along with claiming another hard charger award for season passes. The same season, Bogle also entered the first nine rounds of the Formula Regional Americas Championship powered by Honda with a best finish of fourth.

After a year of learning the Indy Lights Dallara IL-15 car, Bogle returned to the Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires Championship – this time with reigning Team Champions, HMD Motorsports. With four teammates and a powerhouse team of engineers and mechanics, Bogle was able to excel in his sophomore season.

In 2023, Christian will return to INDY NXT by Firestone with HMD Motorsports with Dale Coyne Racing for his second year with the team and third in the series.
